thanks a lot! this is really a superb lens in spite of it's age, still produces vibrant images.

i really love to try the 1.4 but rather expensive nowadays, i have 1.8 and i use it more on video because of less noise at nigh scene, thanks pare!

Yeah, the 50 1.4 generally is pretty pricey, since EVERYONE wants to get it (not just the Pentax shooters/videographers

). Sometimes, you luck out on it tho, especially on those local sales when the seller has no idea what it is they're selling hehe. Or they just don't care and wanna sell it quick. I dunno how the market is there in Pinas tho, but there's gotta be some hand-me-downs that someone wants to get rid of quick. Here in Vancouver, every once in a while, one pops up for a nice price and sometimes bundled up with other lenses, which is how I got mine...Keep trying

no way i can buy it here in pinas, because the way they marked up the price a bit exaggerated, plus the conditions are bad. i do hope i will own this lens before they become extinct on ebay, thanks a lot!
