Dam Busted

An old private dam that has been breeched on a creek near Nairne in the Adelaide Hills.

Thanks to you both. I believe the dam was breeched some years ago by the sheer force of water from a sudden flood.

You guessed it, Bruce! The film they made about the Dam Busters is one of my all-time favourite movies. This scene immediately brought it to mind.

This is a beautiful shot! I love the trees, they add so much interest, as does the stonework. I am drawn into this photo and invited to explore.
