Looks like a beautiful place for hanging out, with or without a camera. Thanks for sharing.

The last two really stand out for me. The beautiful texture of the rock in the third one and that tree trunk in the last one (great color in the water to) are wonderful.

Those are some great pictures, you got some excellent images where others might not have even taken a picture.

Jim-- A lovely set...that's my kind of country, though I'd have trouble laying down my flyrod and picking up a camera I think. I'm curious about the post processing on the last picture, though: did you do anything out of the ordinary to get that tree stump to "pop"? It certainly has an amazing 3D quality.

That was my focus point and was one stop under to try not to over expose the rock on the top left. End a little sharpening on Lightroom and contrast. Very little PP work omn that image. Cheers JIM

Thanks for the reply--as I said, that capture has a real tactile quality, what with the rough bark of the snag and the smooth water in the background...good to get a sense of how you handled the scene.

Wonderful! Thanks for taking us on your walk. Love the framing of the water in all of these and the perspective of the curving young tree in the first.
