Vermillion Lakes - In The Morning Light
Lens: DA* 16-50 Camera: K5 iis Photo Location: Vermillion Lakes, Banff, Alberta

I missed Saturday morning's sunrise and almost missed Sundays. I did mange to arrive just in time. I had to stop for gas (stupid should have got some th night before) and a double double of course . I got there about 15 minutes before sunrise just in time.

Beautiful, Dave! That 3rd one is my favorite, but they're all great. Good thing you got there when you did, they fade quickly.

Wow, this shows that the extra effort you put in to get there in time really payed out. The sky in the 3 one has a almost surreal quality.

Great shots! Love the low key look to these, it really brings out the color of the sunset.

Thanks Fries it was an effort , got up , dressed and ran out the door.
