everyone in the campground was surprised when this massive bison bull walked into the campground and started munching on the grass. He was the only one that visited us, the rest of the herds are on the prairielands at Custer SP. This was taken at Legion Lake Campground

thanks for taking a look buddy, what is cool is to get close enough and watch the bison up close and actually hear these guys snort and grumble. Terri said it reminded her of me when I sleep at night.

one of the campers said at the campground down the road a herd of about 50 came in one day, everyone just stayed inside their campers until they left and had to tread lightly around the area afterwards.
