Elk Island a few shots
Lens: DA* 16-50 Camera: K5 iis Photo Location: Elk Island, Alberta
Posted By: daacon, 09-24-2013, 07:51 AM

Fall arrived around 2:20 pm on Sunday 22Sep13. On this joyous occasion I headed out to Elk Island in the early evening for a few shots. It's nice now that the sun sets around 07:20 pm instead of 10:20 pm allows me to get out there

Dramatically beautiful shot that first one. But the last one is also intriguing. It almost looks like a sudden acceleration caused the sun to crash somewhere.

Very nice indeed, particularly #1 and 2. #3 could maybe have some of the dark foreground cropped away??

Thanks Fries - I know I was packing up to leave and I noticed the pink and set up again for another few shots.

Thanks Jacquot - no Elk at the lake that evening but there are Elk in the park. They are usually very camera shy the buggers.
