Very well done shots. The sharpness and colours of the birds is spot on. Nice stuff. I see you have a one legged pirate in the first shot (Btw the horizon could use help). Too bad there wasn't a bird on the last post. Thhat lens seems like a great performer (you should submit a review to the 3rd party database).

Great series of shots. As Peter said, the images have good sharpness and colour. Good DOF on those last three as well.

Thanks for the comments. I do like this lens....a lot. The more I shoot with it, the better it gets. I'm just waiting for the weather to get better. Everything looks so gray around here.

I guess I could have done something with that horizon. I noticed it when I first looked at the pics but forgot to crop it out (or straighten it). Oh well....there's always next time!

That lens really performs. The second shot is superb, excellent detail and DOF. I was wondering, do you use and "screw mount" lenses with your K100D, do they work well?

This particular lens is not a screwmount, but I do use the Super Takumar lenses. They're screwmount as is the Vivitar 28mm in my sig. The Taks actually work better with the K100D than the M-lenses do. I can shoot those in Av mode with the camera metering the lenses and adjusting the shutter speed as I turn the aperture ring. Here's one taken with the Super Tak 105mm:

M-lenses like the Tamron and my Soligor 24mm have to be operated in full manual mode. It takes a lot more fine tuning to get exposures right.
