I don't usually like to take pictures of birds. But this ugly animal crosses my path time and time again. But as ghastly as it looks, I really like it. Maybe because it looks so bad.

That is one of the ugliest birds I have ever seen - but an excellent shot !

Some kind of Vulture, no? You have captured it's essence, I think. Very interesting. The ugly and beautiful merge, I think it is fascinating. Where was this taken?

Tanks everyone. Sorry for not responding sooner. Yes, it's some kind of vulture.

This is a heavy crop from an FA 50 1.4, so there is not much details. I had another try at something better. Yesterday it was there again and I had my longer lens handy, but this time it didn't want to perform.
