Nice shots, K - I'm sure I would have enjoyed this show, since I've had my share of Japanese bikes myself. Started with a Yamaha RD350 (your 2nd and last shots features some RDs), then a Kawasaki H2 750 triple (also 2-stroke - fast and noisy!), then my first "civilized" bike, a Suzuki GS650G (the shaft-driven model), & finally a Kawasaki 1000 Concours - what an amazing bike! I don't ride anymore, but looking at your photos really gives me the itch!

K2 750 triple? Would that be the Kawasaki Mean Machine? I test rode one when I was 17 and I will never forget it! 2-stroke monster! I had a Honda CL125 and a Suzuki TS125 Enduro. The Suzuki was great fun. Could hold a wheelie for several blocks!

Love them. 100's of years ago I used to race a Yamaha TD2b. Air cooled 250 twin. Most fun you could have with your clothes on.....drifts off into my own little world....

Nice bikes. Takes me back too, Back in the '60's I had a '66 Yamaha YDS3 Catalina Super Sport (quite a mouthful)...a 250cc twin two stroke, sports bike. I also had Czech made '60's Jawa and CZ motorcycles.

Currently I have a English made '67 Matchless G 15 CS 750cc Scrambler (Desert Sled) and a '78 Yamaha SR 500 . The SR, I bought new in April, 1978.

Thanks for posting those pix of the old Japanese iron.

I had a 750 triple as well. My wife and I did a two week camping trip on one through B.C. the second year I had it. Not a touring bike and we did not have panniers or anything, just some vinyl duffle bags tied on.
