New to Pentax first few shots.

Hello everybody.
Switched from Lumix LX-5 which was pretty good to learn most of the DSLR settings.

Anyways got a hold of a K-30 with a standard 18-50mm + 50mm prime f2, also find on a carboot sale a Centon 70-200 f4-5.6 cheap.

First was taken with the Prime without him noticing, got lucky there since used LV and camera set on the table.

Second and third was with the Centon.

Last with the kit lens.

PP done to all, and last three was a bracketed 2 stops, run thru HDR.

Bad/good critics are welcome.

P.s. not sure how the pics will show up, rookie here.

I use Lightroom 4 and Photomatix Pro for the HDR.

It's great! You have a natural feel in those shots... It's great to use HDR to obtain something that looks like natural! :-)
Great post-prod!

Excellent images...
normally I'd probably crop a bit different than you do, more space in front of the subjects face than behind ( I see why you couldn't do that), more space to the left of the windmill blade in the last shot I hate it when part of the subject in one part of the subject is obviously closer to the edge of the frame than on the other side,). But for the most part, bang on.
