Spent Saturday in the Park as it was free entry day. It was cold and snowy, but it was well worth it. Came upon a grizzly but it was too far away to get a decent picture. There were a lot of photographers there as a lot of wildlife out and about...especially the Elk as the bulls are in rut. (Note to self, buy a longer lens

)

Just left Yellowstone after the government shut down today. Got a couple of great Grizzly shots. Will post when I get back. Just arrived in Waterton Alberta as a back up to Yellowstone. Really like the second image. Cheers. Jim

Thanks everyone. Would have loved to spend one more day just taking pictures. So much to see there. Living only 1.5 hours away does have its benefits.
