Rainy days are the perfect time for reading. Maybe that explains why I haven't read much since moving to Arizona...

Man, that looks like a NICE setup you have there. I'd be embarrassed to post a picture from my front door.

Nice place you have there - cabin and woods! I lived in Tucson for a year. Not quite the same as your environment but Arizona was a great place to be. I am planning a similar getaway at the back of my place down here that I can retreat to when I eventually sell the bulk of it. You are making me twitchy!

Actually, my own (apartment) front door isn't that nice, either. it's all dusty and stuff. This was on vacation at a cabin my Aunt and Uncle rented for a week. That's my uncle in the picture.

Hey, but that's a good thing, right? There have been a number of times that a picture or post here inspired me to get out and do something I'd been meaning to do for a while, but never seemed to have the time to do.

The cabin had one of these things built-in to the porch. Here's an idea for your retreat:

I do love it here in Arizona, especially because it's so varied. I live in Tempe, but during this week-long vacation just a few hours away, temperatures were 20° cooler, and it rained every other afternoon! I know most would complain about rain on vacation, but I loved it.

Thanks! Yeah, I don't get any news at all from April to July!

Thanks Dave! Unlike some people, I don't do anything useful at all when it rains.

It's all looking good to me, the contents of that glass are giving me slight concerns, I like a bit more colour in mine.

Thanks, Charlie. Sorry there's no red Solo cups here to enjoy.

No thanks, I like a clear head to enjoy the beautiful weather.
