Took My K5 On A Train Ride

Here are some shots I took of this 106 year old Steam engine.

Ah, steam trains!!

Love them! Where is this steam line located? Oil fired, I imagine.

We're going on vacation to Bryson City, NC. While there we will ride a steam train, loco built in 1942 or '44, which runs between Dillsboro NC and Nantahala, NC. Gonna take the K 5, the 645n, and what might just be perfect, a YashicaMat 6x6 TLR. The latter in BW should furnish the proper period feel.

It's actually a wood burner.

The Engine is the Orange Blossom Cannonball. It is 106 years old, and has been in countless movie's.

excellent shots, the BW processing looks great, a authentic old film look, feels like I'm veiwing 100 year old photos

Great. Looks like movie stills or real old photos (except for the parking lot asphalt and stripes, I would crop/clone that part out)
