..take any kind of these shots because of bad AF-C? Or? I've understood that Pentax's AF-C is really bad in your opinion so I took my K-5 II in a hard test. It was almost fully dark forest. The sun had set some minutes ago. No clear sky, cloudy all the way. And me with my K-5 II and P 60-250/4*. Of course I had to have some kind of moving object to test the AF-C on. I heard the sound of Eurasian Jay and then I did wait some minutes until it landed and you know the end of this story? The distance between me and jay was something like 5 meters so I was able to get really blurry backround and small DOF with f/4.5 aperture. AF-C was on and there are the final result(s) of this test.

I don't have a K5II but the older K5 (which, if I understand it correctly, has a less-advanced AF module), and I have to say even for the K5 "cannot use AF-C" is a bit too harsh of a statement; sometimes it works fine, even with my slower lenses compared to your f/4.5. However I do get much more consistent results if I use the center AF point only in AF-S mode, because then the camera and I don't have differences of opinion about the subject on which to focus. I'd love to handle a K5II one day though, just to see if it's significantly different.
