Fog Bank Sunset
Photo Location: Sterling, CO

from our campground a fogbank was forming in the valley below and a setting sun produced this photo

Interesting "cloudscape". A seldom seen view. Perhaps brightening the shadows a bit could pull out some more details in the clouds as it was not obvious to me until reading your description what I was looking at. Very cool though, great image!

I can see what you mean, I was concentrating more on the light hitting the fogbank than the cloud itself. I'll play around with editing to see what turns up. Bob

thank you Mike, we left Colorado and went up to South Dakota for a couple of weeks and now headed South, pulled into San Felipe NM today. We missed out on all the snow in the Dakotas thankfully, I heard where Deadwood SD got 4 feet of snow. Take Care, Bob....

That was great timing. I am hoping we don't have any major snow here in Michigan in the next couple of weeks. We are scheduled to pull out on the 28th for Texas.
