Spotted this Bull Elk on the side of the road. Got within 40 feet before he told me if was close enough. He had a Harem of 6 ladies and he felt I may have been getting too close. The third image is of Columbia Icefields. Cheers JIM

Beautiful elk! Definitely could tell he wasn't afraid to let you know when you got to close.

Great photos of him & her - and perfect capture of his expression! Also really enjoyed the play of light & shadow on the icefield!
