Incoming storm at sunset to our campsite in Pahrump Nevada produced plenty of lightning, high winds and rain.

Great shot that's one of my holy grails lightening .... seen a bit of it never been close to capturing it.

We had a week of daily storms Jerry, so you have a better pick or chance of shots like this. You gotta love the heat though standing outside waiting for the storms to develop.

I set the camera on bulb, so just have to release the shutter when a good bolt comes down. Bruce I was playing with the WB and got a different hue on this one. It was really raining hard in the distance at sunset also. thanks Bob.

hey thanks Charlie, a lightning strike over the ocean in Florida would be a great capture.
