Met its match
Lens: D-FA 100mm Macro WR Camera: K20D ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/4000s Aperture: F6.7

I recently got a Cactus LV-5 laser trigger... so I wanted to try some high-speed photography.. mixed it in with macro cause why not make it harder for myself.

After lots of failed shots, missed shots... wasted match-sticks and a wet desk... this is the best shot I was able to get.

I think it's alright?

Original size

Learned a few lessons - need to buy (or make) a few bits of gear to make this sort of thing easier. To ensure consistency, a stand or something is needed to be able to drop an ice-cube from the same height and onto the same place each time!

Surprisingly, the Cactus LV5 appears to have only really gone up in price. Not sure if there's any any alternatives!
