Still Flowering
Lens: smc PENTAX-DA* 300mm F4 ED [IF] SDM Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Moreton, Queensland, Australia ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/1000s Aperture: F9.5

The roses are still rewarding us with some beautiful blooms. tTis was an interesting shot. Just as I was setting up a Chinook was coming over so I rushed in changed to the DA* 300, missed the helicopter, but kept the lens on in case. Didn't happen, but it ended up a half decent macro lens, just had to stand a fair bit back. Gave this a softer look and no water drops.

love the softness here Trev, the way a rose should be. Nice to see you have a good crop this year, I remember you saying it started out slowly.

Thanks Bob. Storms predicted for this afternoon, so they will have to start again.
