Not really as burned as the other one. Suggestion when shooting these, they're better if you can shoot them facing you. In insect photography the eyes are what others look for in a great photo. I know it's not always easy to get them to face you, I shoot a lot of bugs too, sometimes they just don't want to cooperate with us.

That's true, but I was told if you wait they'll come back to the same place and you can maybe get a better shot. These, I believe, are called Long legged flies. Don't quote me as I'm not up to my fly ID's yet. I'm still learning.

I've noticed the butterflies in my yard showing similar behavior. Since my only access is from the south, I have to be patient to photograph their faces.
