First try doing portraits

Right. Please don't chop my head off. I know it's nothing close to what established artists do around here, but please bear with me. These are my first ever portraits. Just a couple of samples.

Feedback always appreciated!


An informal portrait. I know I messed the exposure up, but there was simply too much light and I didn't have time to readjust.




Next is my former high-school deskmate. (cue memories) I met her in a park last Sunday, and I couldn't resist.




Then her boyfriend showed up...

Yeah, should've edited that quote better.

You can never have too much light, film or latitude...
