Both Pentax K5 & 17-70mm, these were taken at my local beach which is a 5 minute walk from my house

Handheld, resting on my fleece top, 2s self timer!

Amazing the difference the shutter speed made on these. Love the B&W but the blue tones in the second shot and the action of the waves against the rocks makes it special also.

Gorgeous images. I like both very much. Really nice work --- I've used various items as camera rest as well. Your fleece worked out perfectly.

Thanks all for the comments! I would of replied sooner but was helping a mate move and sat down late for a beer and before I knew it I was fast asleep!

Tessfully, sound like your like me and improvise where and when!!

Took these with an ND8 filter on the front. I was so close and low down at one point the camera, lens and me took a direct hit!
