Greetings!

I was working in Iceland for about 10 weeks in the summer. It was a really busy summer, but I managed to grab some photos every now and then. I shot all of these with k-5 + da15. Used nd filter on some (nd400).

1. Svartifoss

2. Some random place (filled my water bottle here. I've never tasted water so fine and fresh!). 3. Skógafoss

4. Geothermal activity up in the hills near Hveragerði

5. Öxarárfoss

6. Jökulsárlón

7. Þingvallavatn

Some really wonderful shots there. That 15mm works great in that type of landscape, and you really framed/composed the shots masterfully

This is a place that I have never even considered until all you forum members starting posting such great shots of all it's wonders. Really like the BW ones.

We have got to get to Iceland. That first shot is really magnificent. The PP is spot on. Enjoyed the whole series.

While not near 10 weeks I already have tickets for iceland for summer of 2014.

Greta shots, I love that first one. Some of these Iceland shots are really good for B&W.

With such powerful colours, I would not convert to B&W, perrsonally. The composition and colours of the first coloured one are amazing.

I think the B&W treatment on the first one is exceptional. That's a fantastic photo, they're all great but the first one slaps you in the face with moody detail.
