Hi,
Contrary to weather reports this morning looking out the window all I can see is rain!

So here we have some basil and a lighter, if the weather doesnt pick up then there will be a few more of these today!

oh and a phone that went wrong, my sigma lens has a habbit of sliding if the angle is to great, i forgot to scellotape it up this time!

The leaves have a real texture with that lighting. The lens is rendering the background nicely, too.

You are making the most of that black granite countertop! Seems like you've emptied the contents of the cupboard, camera bag and now your pockets, taking pictures on it lately; an obvious sign that the weather is shite.

lol, got it one. I think i have harrassed the dogs enough so am finding inanimate things to shoot

Looks like the sun is out so am going to have a bowl of chips and head out, maybe as far as the back garden

All excellent shots, but that phone shot is realy cool. The phone shot is one that I would be hard pressed to produce if that was the kind of image I really wanted to achieve. Thanks for posting.

I was also hoping to see the lighter and the basil in the same shot. I saw a wedding shot recently where the bride's dress was on fire and I have been aching to shoot things on fire ever since. I do like these shots a lot and I, too, can understand cabin fever.
