Sunset in the Sespe Wilderness

A waning sunset in the Sespe Wilderness captured on Highway 33 on the way down to Ojai.

At first glance another sunset, then admire for a bit and the real impact of this shot comes through. The hills make this shot, just enough detail to bring depth. Well done.

I like it , the silhouette rolling hills and some mist with a colorful sky it has it all.

What a beautiful sunset. The layers of hills with the faint mist between add so much to this image. Well done.

Thanks to all, and I'm really glad all of you could see that mist. Like you I thought that made the image, that extra depth. It was hard to do though to get it right. Lightening the mist too much made the picture look artificial. Darkening too much made it too hard to see. There was also the angle of viewing the screen: if you tilt it while looking, the mist will become more and less prominent. I wasn't sure if it could be seen on other monitors. Thanks again!
