A couple of grizzly bear pictures.

In early summer they gorge themselves on dandelion, this was in the first week of June in Waterton Lakes National park

Was this taken before or after he S_..T in the woods?

How close were you ?
I've seen grizzlies (in the Alberta Rockies) in the wild before, but NOT this close !

Outstanding I have yet to see one in the wild maybe I need to go to Waterton in June.

Thank you Norm. Mostly behind the truck, some from the open truck door. The bears new that I was there and I new that they new.

Thank you. Different day and different bear. I was anywhere from 40 to 80 feet from these ones.

Thank you Bob, these images are from 2 different occasions. I probably spent 20 minutes with the one, took many shots as well as about 5 minutes of video.

Hi Dave and thank you. This year I saw and photographed 4, two of them might have been the same animal. Last year I saw only one.
