Photo opts are hard to come by right now … no sun, on again off again snow and rain, and now it is really cold. I still shoot every day and in these conditions head to my secret little stream for inspiration.

and a late fall prerequisite...

I am total agreement with Lauren .I am never disappointed when looking at your shots. these are no exception. Number 4 for me is spectacular. With the water slow enough to see the bottom, and the reflections. Not to mention the leaves in a lean to almost expect to see a small creature climb in for a rest.

A terrific focus on minutiae - beauty one has to make an effort to extract from the background. Great job, as always, tess.

Beautiful use of lines and DOF. You also managed to eek out some wonderful colors from the dreary landscape.

Thanks Susan… when things turn brown and dreary I can always find beauty in the flow of water and ice.
