That's a big 'un! It's not poisonous, is it? It reminds me of the Gila monsters around here, which are the only poisonous lizard in this country. I've never seen one myself, but my Aunt and Uncle, who live out in the country, have to shoo one out of their garage once in a while.

It's against the law to kill or harass them in any way.

As far as I know they're not poisonous, but they give farmers problems, eating chicken eggs and killing chicks. You don't see them often, but when rain is on the way, they move around a lot
