Last week I could have racked some leaves from the front yard (most of the initial snow had melted). The last few days winter has put her foot down she's here for a while. Don't mind the snow , it's the dipping temperatures but looking good for the weekend so there's hope !

On Thursday last week there was no snow bank , before we walk we have to shovel

#2 The main roads are ok slow traffic (luckily I don't have to experience that) off ramps are pure ice. In fact I head a great comparison today the traffic in Edmonton is slower than the Oilers rebuild ouch !


But winter is not without it's beauty - if you want to see some of Alberta go to youtube and look up 'remember to breathe Alberta" Some great video commercials for all seasons.

You are so lucky to have all this snow, where I live we never get even one flake of the stuff.
Snow seasons have an attraction all their own. I can just imagine coming home from a walk
in the snow and then settle down in front of an open fire place with a glass of Gluehwein.

Beautiful photos, but I'm glad we don't have that yet in the Twin Cities (MN). I'm enjoying the warmer than normal November so far. Supposed to get maybe an inch on Thursday.

hah thanks I think ? I did look at a snowblower this year at Costco - but I don't mind shoveling and it's a relatively small area. Maybe next year (several neighbors have one in the event of a major dump)

Well Tess hate to keep all here. The average November snowfall in the Edmonton area is aroun 18cm. If we get that 20cm that is expected over the next 24 hours or so that will make for a total of 60+cm so far and there's more days left.
