Took these photos of the moon last night with my bridge camera. Hoping to get a dslr for my 50th in March. Narrowed it down to 3 now. Pentax K-3, Canon EOS 70D, Nikon D7100.

Thanks Joel.

I've tried for ages to take shots of the moon and have always failed dismally. I have a starry sky setting on my camera, which I've tried in the past but they have always turned out rubbish with two bright white orbs, like 2 moons. This time it suddenly clicked that I needed much less light coming into the camera, so I made the shutter speed a priority, 250 seemed the best then I played with the exposure, which was set at -2/3. Took a set of 12 shots in groups of 4 and these 4 turned out the best.
