What a great image - it really captures something of Scotland - with the silver light of the sun on the trees and shining through the distant rain. Fabulous!

Stunning shot, I can remember going to Glencoe a while back on our way to Lewis, and my jaw dropped, stunning surreal landscape, looks like another planet, we had driven up from Kinlochleven which is another one of those beautiful drives. A stunning country, if they had the weather, it would be a top top tourist destination for the entire world.
Im an exiled Macleod, my missus hates any weather lower than 18C

Glencoe is a great place for photography but when it comes to the weather it can be all weathers in one day august is it best time for good weather

Yes, this is a great photograph, kemompop1!

And p38arover, I was in Scotland two years ago in September and, apart from some rain on the west coast and when we were at Glencoe

, the weather was fine

. There's a photo opportunity almost everywhere you look in Scotland - great country and people.
