Yesterday (Nov 21) I went to a fighter plane museum called Fighterworld at Williamtown, near Newcastle. It is located in a small corner of the Williamtown Air Base. The awesome display of planes is very crowded with difficult lighting. This is my favourite for the day.

Very nice. The planes are pretty well stuffed in there but you captured them perfectly.

Yes, I went out on the back deck but the day we were there the only jets taking off and landing were Hornets. And they were plenty loud.
We were not lucky enough to see an arrestor landing. I'd sure like to.

Thanks, Musket104. I appreciate that they are trying to show as many planes as they can but it was very difficult getting pleasing compositions.

Fighterworld is a real boys-own happy place.
I have been, then went again with my kids, then again with the grandkids.
Boys love it - girls tolerate it - haha.
Lucky it has a cafeteria
