I made into the big city with some friends last night to watch the Yankees play the Jays 04/02/08. Some may remember I am a bit of a Red Sox fan so I of course, I was cheering for the Jays, and yes, I did wear the 2007 American League Champions Sox hat
With Seats 4 rows from the dugout I had a great seat for lots of pictures and very little heckling for the hat
I had a great time and really enjoy Yankee Stadium (just dislike the team that plays there
) The House the Ruth built is in its final year of play so when asked if I was interested in going I jumped. The Jays prevailed and beat the Yanks 5-2 after a valiant attempt by the Yanks in the 9th.
I got home late and up early but took a few minutes to quickly play with a couple I thought looked good. I will post a few more later from Monument Park tonight or tomorrow. All shot with the Pentax K10.
I had to climb to the upper deck for a nice wide shot. Used my K10 and DA 16-45.
Arod put this one over the 408 mark in center field to get the Yanks 2 runs.

Jeter ( Have to admit the one the few Yankees I like) tries with no luck to stretch a single into a double. He was out by a mile.
It is a smidge out of focus, or should I say the focus is on the umpire and not the player covering. I still like it.
