My best Ansel Adams impression

Here is my best Ansel Adams impression. I was at work earlier this week and it was pretty foggy. It just so happens that I had my camera at work for the first time in weeks. As I was driving around in the fog I noticed this tree and had to take a quick shot. As always C&C is welcome!

Very nice! I love mist shots like this… and that tree is a great subject. Thanks for sharing!

I love moody "fog photos," and this one is a dandy. Nice job - composition and PP, which - in my experience - is not always easy with foggy subjects.

Thanks for the comments! I have a serious question for the masses, is the dead space on the top of the photo too much or do I need more dead space around the tree or should I leave it as is?

I think it could do with a bit more negative space. As long as there aren't distracting elements in the background it might be worth playing around with.

I like it. Now you have me digging in the cupboards for my old Ansell Adams calendars.
