When I saw the thread title I thought I was opening a NSFW thread. My bad.
Anyway, I was wondering, how do they squeeze the grumpy middle-aged woman in there who sells stamps?

It is in fact an early Dalek prototype, but its catchline of "We will stamp you out" never caught on, and was reassigned to other duties.

However, another piece of British street furniture, the police box, survived its early auditions...
