attached you'lll find the fist image taken with my new camera. i can now happily say im a satisfied pentax user.

this was taken with the kit lens with flash, also post processed*to the best of my ability* with the raw software that ame with the camera. then sharpened in photoshop after conversion to jpeg. all comments are appreciated

That's waaaay better than my first shot on either the DL or K100! Nice pose on the cat, too. Congrats on the new toy.

This is an impressive first shot you have taken.

The eyes are certainly the main features in this shot. However, the flash might have been a bit too strong. The blind might have been a bit distracting as well.

Over all, a tighter crop might suffice. The eyes did have that magical yellow to it.

Congrads on the new k110d!

Congratulations on the camera. I am sure you will have a lot of fun with it. Very nice first shot too. Way better than my first shot when I got my DL last year. I found I had a lot of re learning to do after having not used an SLR for about 4 years.

Much better than my first shot (a bedpost!) Considering the time of day I cracked my K100D open, I could have waited.

after having the pentax for the last few days, it makes me realize what ivbe been missing out on, i love shoooting in RAW
