We can't get enough of being in the bush and so we take the 3 hour drive to this magnificent game reserve once a month - so fortunate to live so close to this natural gem!

Oh most definitely yes! There are lions and other predators out there.

Thanks everybody! The light conditions were very challenging, due to the overcast weather and strong backlighting. I was very pleased with the way my new Pentax DA 55-300mm ED lens handled it.

Yes, this is a terrific series of a very beautifull reserve, Neville. Nice shooting!
When I was there the conditions were the same so I converted some images to B&W. This works really well sometimes.
