Nice, very nice, the bugs look quite ugly though.

Geez, that K10D and A-100 f4 macro are a good combination. The spider shots are especially impressive. Did you employ the a can of Pea Beau (?) to hold them still?

Regards

Jumping spiders are nothing to worry about , I wont kill em ...

White backs - red backs = Different story ... When it gets hot , the nasty ones come out to play , dont know how I ever made it without being bitten when I was younger ...

Pretty good shots.

I noticed the EXIF data is saying you shot these at f22 and f32... if that's the case, then I suppose that explains why they aren't as sharp as they could be. I recently learned about diffraction and how it's something that will definitely impact macro photography if attempting to get as much of your subject as sharp as possible. Do a search on diffraction and macro, quite a lot out there to read and learn about

Yeah , but for nature ( macro ) photography , your dammed for the doing and not doing ..
Everything is a compromise .. I usually shoot F16 to F22 ..
Today was windy , and the shots were a little awkward , so could be ME , some are soft and that's probably more to do with free hand shooting ...
One of these days I have to put in the split focus screen .. ( I have one in the box here ) The camera AF sensor is slow , by the time I get the focus light and beep , Im no longer in focus ..
The trials and tribulations of shooting with a K10 .. One day , soon .. I will clean the sensor and put in the split screen ...
