Otis' Annual Christmas Drive
Lens: Bigma 50-500 Camera: K5 Original Photo Location: Woods of Otis-Texas ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F6.7

Otis brought this to me early this morning and asked me to post it for him...and you know I never refuse Otis, it's just not smart!

Generous and kind Pentaxian friends, it's that time of year again when I ask for your help in giving little orphan squirrels a good meal and a few little gifts at Christmas. They are so in need, and I only ask because I don't want to have to spend up my vast wealth and be poor, which wouldn't be any fun, would it? So.... filled with the spirit (brewed in the Woods of Otis) I am asking that you PM me your PayPal account numbers and just let me take out amounts sufficient to meet the overwhelming needs here.

Willy is a typical little orphan squirrel, his mom was run over and killed by an old lady driving an 82 Oldsmobile, half blind, speeding and a floorboard full of beer cans....and she smelled bad too. It was a tragic loss, and Willy now spends the cold Winter nights alone out on a limb. Your donations could buy him a fancy nest like mine, with central heat and air, a big refrigerator chocked full of food and a big screen TV where he could relax and enjoy life, like I do. I'd take him in myself, but I have so many lady friends visiting, there really isn't any room for Willy....you younger Pentaxians understand, no doubt?

Just get those account numbers to me in time for Christmas and you can count on Otis to do the rest! I want let you down.....much!

Poor little Willy, it was 18F last night, I'm surprised he made it through the night. You guys can make his life a joy, and you know the entire Army of Otis will thank you!

Regards!
Your Pal
Otis

Merry Christmas from all of us here in the Woods of Otis! BTW- We love to come here and view your excellent work. It is our favorite site......however, some do like to visit the Canon and Nikon sites for Comedy Hour.

I dunno... Willy looks very sweet and very well fed...I'm guessing he has a sugar-mama already.

I just wonder how long Otis had him practice that first begging pose.

Otis appreciates your comments, but asks "Where's the Beef"? He's been checking his mail all day for those account numbers and so far hasn't found a single one. I told him you guys are probably busy moving cash into your PayPal accounts so he will have plenty to spend on the poor little orphans. That is what is going on...right?

Regards!

Well Photolady, if you can't give, at least it's good you keep your squirrels fed and their mamas off the streets. Otis says to watch out for that old lady in the Oldsmobile, she's a real killer!

Regards!

I'm thinking that I will come and visit you Rupert to see how well you live and double check that there isn't room for Willy before sending you my paypal account number. Lots of fly-by-night organizations around this time of year and, while I trust you, I would feel better if I could see where you live so I know exactly what plans you have for the little fella.

Susan, I live in a modest small home, could live in a mansion if I didn't have to spend my cash on feeding animals!
Otis lives in a treetop luxury penthouse, but like he said, he has little room for orphans due to an abundance of lady friends that are constantly visiting him.

WARNING: This drive has not been the success Otis was hoping for, apparently no one cares about little orphan squirrels, in particular if they look as fat as little butterballs! Otis has decided to go back to running ads on E-bay and in the Marketplace to raise Christmas cash. I'd be very careful if I saw an ad for any Ltd lens for $75, in "New Condition" still boxed...with free shipping, being sold from an "Estate Sale"....by a seller named Honest Otis.

Regards!

I have plenty of empty squirrel helper boxes Rupert that would make a nifty condo if put together in the appropriate way.---charliezap

Charlie, I don't know what you think, but for a starving orphan squirrel...he looks pretty damn fat to me? You don't reckon Otis would try to hoodwink us do you?
Maybe if we pressure cooked him, he would fit nicely in those Squirrel Helper boxes?

Regards!

Looks more like he might explode than die from starvation?
