WOW.. 2many that is a wonderful shot!! You caught the sun hitting him just right!!!

The herons around here are very spookish... Do you have a blind that you use to get such great shots???

Kim, no blinds here, you occasionally get one to sit still close up and personal, actually most of the birds here are used to people.

This was the last shot I got before the K20 bit the dust, Its being returned to the vendor tomorrow, havent thought about a replacement yet.

Dave,

I had on my walkaround lens for birds which is the Tamron 70-300mm DI, I wasnt expecting anything fabulous so I didnt have any fast lenses with me.
