Well I just couldn't leave the new camera (k3) at home today so I decided to bring it along to work to a machine shop that I work at, so here are a few pics (specifically of the induction heat treating machine..)

I love detail shots like these, which are all well done in my view. The first one makes a sensational abstract.

Very Cool, I love Machine Shops.

Something so very positive to have the ability to make things from total scratch.

I love photos of machines. There's not nearly enough of this on the Forums. These are all very well executed!

Here are some more work pictures I took today at work with the K3 and the DA21 Limited, almost all of the shots were taken at ISO3200 at f3.2, ranging between 1/60 and 1/100 shutter speed hand held.

My friend, that last series is exceptional - I especially like the third and last ones.

I'm sure glad I took a second look at this thread - good stuff, indeed.

Thanks again Jer for the comments, I appreciate it very much
I am really having a ton of fun bringing the camera to work, the workers seem to feel great about having their work photographed, and for me it is satisfying to capture some interesting images of both machinery and the processes of machining.
Cheers!
