A lucky photograph! most birds don't stay long enough to enable one go back into the house and grab the camera. This one did as he was singing to a fellow robin in a nearby tree completely oblivious to me getting closer and closer.

Yesterday I upgraded the camera from version 1.00 to 1.05 and this was one the first photos I took. Using the 50-200 kit lens I am pleased with the result.

Terrific shot, the only thing missing is the robin isn't wearing a Santa hat! Thanks for including the flicker link - the smaller picture doesn't do it justice
