I originally posted these in the POTW#4 thread. Figured I would share these with the rest of you in case you've been thinking of getting this lens. Here are some examples.

Nice photo's there reknelb,

I absolutely love my 135 - 400, and have gotten several good photographs with it.

However I use primes more than anything now, so as a result I don't mind loaning it out to almost anyone visiting my area.

I really like the last one. getting birds in flight is always a challenge for me. Nice job.

Thanks for the nice comments. I went out again today but couldn't close the distance on the birds. I did get some shots of shovelers which I've never seen in this area before.
