Nice shot, they are sort of cute this small. Still I don't like them too close.

He was just sitting there not moving but was gone a little later when I checked back. You don't often see the young ones.

Nice back lighting - I hear these guys can get quite large.

Yes they can, about 2/3's the size of a man's hand.

Good crisp image EM, I like to see images of critters that are not native to our area.

They are not aggressive unless you annoy them but aren't poisonous. No tubes used, just the Sigma 105mm F2.8 macro.

Yep, very nice lighting and great detail......spiders are wonderful subjects, post more spiders anytime, you do excellent work!

You must get the small ones there then? The biggest ones I've seen are easily bigger than that.

Yes we cut back on their food to stunt their growth or we'd have to make saddles for them!
