Merry Christmas from me!
Posted By: Gareth, 12-21-2013, 04:43 PM

These taken with my Super Takumar. The round bokeh were wide open and the heart bokeh shots at f2.4

Most I have played with the clarity slider to give them a dreamy feel

Wow, now those are some amazing photographs!
Really dreamy and 3D. I thought the heart-bokeh was great, but then I saw the photos with the regular circular bokeh and I think they look even better (since the bokeh balls complement the circular ornaments)

And Merry Christmas to you, too!

These are absolutely superb - even the cheesy bokeh shapes Really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.

Keep and eye out to make sure one of these doesn't end up as a Hallmark card next year!

Thanks both! The cheesy bokeh is from a DIY heart shaped aperture that attaches to the lens. It's a bit trial and error in terms of size but once nailed its great! I've made a star aperture also. Have a great Christmas

A delightful series - something about these photos that is . . . . . mirthful. Terrific stuff and Merry Christmas.
