Cruising - Bonaire - Part 2
Lens: DA* 16-50 Camera: K5 iis Photo Location: Bonaire

....continuing on in Bonaire .....English and USD were the language and currency of choice both accepted no problem.

click on image twice for larger view

#9 - This is just one of those shots we try and get whenever we visit a beach .....just a moment to reflect how fortunate we are ....

#10 - More locals posing

#11 - Bonus shot did not think I would see what I believe to be a heron on the Caribbean Sea

#12 - Downtown Bonaire - typical very narrow streets and tons of tourists (I mean we just dropped off a couple thousand and there was another ship in port as well)

#13 - The girls went shopping so the boys were looking for refreshments. We found this to be a common theme in the southern Caribbean - a 7 ounce bottle of bud light - one good swig and she was gone

#14 - Time to leave Bonaire and head for the next port - shot from our balcony

#15 - Little while later well it's sunset from the deck time .....

#16 - Could not get enough of this view ...

Very nice - Bonaire is one of the diving "gotta go there!" spots, with shore dives on gorgeous reefs all round the island… So when will you post your underwater shots?

Man, they're sure stingy with those Bud Lights, but hey - who cares when you're cruising paradise.

Except for the size of the bud light, looks like your vacation is still lots of fun. When do you get to the not-so-great part?

Thanks Jim - I was all prepared to go on a couple of dives and with the 8,432 things I packed I forgot my PADI card - Now I am not a seasoned diver by any means but have about a dozen or so dives all in the Caribbean in various places. Stupid , the group we were with were not big divers but still I missed out on that opportunity.

I know ! They tell me the beer gets warm too quickly. I don't understand that it was only 27C or so ....I have never had that issue up here
