So much texture and detail. I could look at the first one forever. Ice is such a wonderful subject in your hands Norm. Great job.

With a tripod, Normhead? Surely you'd be shivering too much for that level of tack-sharpness otherwise. ;-)

Great stuff Norm.

Did you notice its folks from the US South and Southern Hemisphere that are really fascinated

by the results our recent ice storm? Of course they don't have to drive in it.

Well documented the Ice Storm of 2013 - should have got Rob Ford to just walk around with all that hot air and BS he could melt a small town in a matter of hours.

Great images Norm, but your gonna have to explain this cold ice stuff to the Aussie contingent on here, as they're totally lost.

Tripods are pretty much mandatory around here.. but it was above freezing when we took the pictures, so not that bad.

I liked the things on the other side of the fence too, I just don't like the fence in the foreground OOF.

We planned our travel to miss, it, getting here a few hours before the storm started, so we didn't drive in it either.

easy to be outside the box if your box is as small as mine... I'm not sure I even fit inside my box.

I have to read about Rob Ford every day, how did Calgary get such a good mayor and we get this guy. There is no justice in this world.

Hey Norm, you need to point that comment at the Aussies, I'm in Scotland trying my hardest to act as an intermediary by way of obtaining more info for them on all this cold stuff.
