Crevier Classic Cars - Pt 1
Lens: 12-24 Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Newport Beach CA ISO: 1600
Posted By: SpecialK, 12-26-2013, 07:29 PM

Crevier Classic Cars has a showroom/museum. I was the only visitor early Christmas Eve morning.

Inside the door are a H-D motorcycle and 1941 Indian Dispatch Tow trike.

A lobby corner.

This 4-cyl 1918 Chevy "buckboard" Racer could go over 80 MPH. It was found under the grandstands at a Canadian fairgrounds in the 70s.

Most cars are for sale. The 1962 Mini Cooper Traveler was listed at $34,900. The 1958 BMW 600 Microcar Limo was unlisted.

Porsche.

2013 Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca racing edition.

Ferrari.

Ford GT-40.

Chevelle.

1963 Plymouth Belvedere.

GMC 100.

1967 VW Beetle restored to correct specs and colors. ($37,500 or so).

1966 Cortina.

BMW.

1963 Corvette.

Charging the battery on a 1947 Ford Sportsman.

Mercury Eight.

Pontiac.

1911 Hudson Speedster.

1935 Packard Twelve.

Ford.

Hudson.

1925 Chevy Model K Touring Sedan.

1956 VW camper.

1928 Cadillac.

Impala.

1936 Ford 5-Window Coupe.

Thunderbird.

1958 Corvette.

VW bus.

Lincoln Continental.

Gas pump, Ford.

More 1911 Hudson Speedster bits.

These levers controlled the timing, so you adjusted mixture for easy hand-crank starting, then tuned it for actual running.

1962 Mini Cooper Traveler.

Our family had a 1967 bus with the sliding soft top...I forget what happened to it.

Thanks. Not much going on for Christmas as the family is a bit out of convenient driving range (San Francisco).

I forget how I heard about it - I think a magazine article.

I was fascinated by the 1911 Speedster. I'm not even sure what some of the gadgets on it are for.

Amazing collection, and great images! Thanks for the trip down memory lane... particularly the VW Beetle. During college daze [sic], I spent a lot of time in several of them!

They have another similar convertible in the mid-$30,000s - a bit pricey for a bug.

Very, very nice stuff.

BTW, not just a Ford Cortina but a Lotus Cortina! Very desirable.

When my wife and I moved into this house, in our garage there was a split screen VW Kombi with safari windows like the one you've pictured. My wife wouldn't let me keep it.

Oh, it was about 31-32 years ago.

I would not have guessed there are so many Cortina fans :-)
