Downtown is very colorful. This is Willemstad stealing a description it's a vibrant and cosmopolitan city with waterfront shops and cafes. It's walkable and always warm, but never stiflingly hot, thanks to constant, breezy trade winds.

#1 - Looking back over the Old Swinging Lady

#2 - Bright colors await us (and our USD ha!)

#3 - A common theme down here very narrow streets. Not many hummers sold here

#4 - I think my Brother-in-Law is getting some ideas for his B&B in Costa Rica

#5 - Tourists Tourists and more Tourists .....

#6 - This is the floating market. Some of these ships come from Venezuela (a 12 hour boat ride).

#7 - They stay (sleep and eat) in their boats until all their goods are gone then back home for more

#8 - You can get another idea here of the size of our ship - freaking hotel !

I really like the alley, beautiful and colorful city, I bet you guys had fun just walking around. Are the prices pretty high there since it is mainly tourists?

Thanks Bob prices were relatively high. On the Tour we took our guide suggested we shop on the other side of the bridge as it was cheaper. It was indeed , my wife picked up some t-shits for $9.00 and the same ones were going for $20.00 in the high traffic areas.
