.....was Labadee, Haiti. Labadee is owned by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and there is something to do for everyone.

An early morning approach

A very long zip line, someone said that it is a 31/2 minute ride

Wow looks like a beautiful spot. Our first stop was an Island owned by the cruise line as well. Seems business was / is good. Was this a port dock or Tender ? How long did you stay there ?

Dave, it's my favourite stop, I don't lay on the beach but pretty much walk around all day (except for food and drink, it's B.Q. and it's good, all food and drink comes of the ship) exploring what there is to see. I need to go back, haven't seen half of it.

I'm sure that it is. Before they let you on it you have to try out on a small one that is set up just for that purpose. If you pass they take you up the mountain, ($100.00 later)

Take care,

looks to be a beautiful island, I know there is so much poverty in Haiti but I'm sure they keep the tourists away from that

Wow! I am shocked that a cruise ship owns an Island. Super photos ... Love the seadoos and the zip line looks like fun. That first shot though is post card perfection!

Hi Bob, you never see the real Haiti, this place was created for cruise boats and it does employ local people and we did find some vendors that were selling their own work but mostly it is made in China stuff.

Take care,

Hi Tess and thank you, It's not just this one ship that uses the island, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines have quite a fleet of ships and a number of them use this port.

Take care,
